Menu examples

I like to keep things interesting by changing the menu for every Soundfood. I draw inspiration from all sorts of different cuisines from around the globe. I have got some favourite dishes that re-appear from time to time, but otherwise every menu is unique. All dietary requirements are catered for if necessary.

Here are some examples of previous Soundfood menus:

1 Course

  • Moroccan spiced lamb back strap with minted peas, grilled zucchini, feta and herb couscous, natural yoghurt and pomegranate seeds

5 Course

  • Corn chowder with charred corn, chilli, coriander and Parmesan cheese
  • Marinated Greek feta filo parcels with honey
  • Crumbed and fried confit pork jowl/marinated halloumi, carrot and brussel sprout salad and fried shallots
  • Sous Vide lamb cutlet with minted pea puree, oyster mushroom and honey mustard and sage butter
  • BBQ grilled pineapple and banana with a rum butter sauce

5 Course with Drink Matching

  • English onion soup with sage and cheddar (Carpene Malvolti Prosecco)
  • Blood sausage and chorizo taco/ re-fried bean tacos with tomato salsa, pickled red cabbage and kewpie mayo (Bloody Mary with a tequila marsala wash)
  • Lentil stew with double smoked bacon and prunes/ spiced lentils (Schlenkerla Marzen Smoked Beer)
  • Pan fried eye fillet steak/ roasted swiss brown mushroom with mushy peas and herbed butter (Chalk Hill Luna Shiraz)
  • Spiced apple puree with Adelaide blue cheese, toasted walnuts and honey (Le Tertre Du Lys D’or sauterne)
